Mitchell uses they/them/siya pronouns and directly comes to us from the George Washington University as the Interim 导演 of the Multicultural Student 服务 center and the former 副主任 for Residential Equity and Assessment for Campus Living and Residential Education. 他们出生了, 提高了, and earned their bachelor’s from University of Saint La Salle in the Philippines and earned their master’s in Public Administration and Gender Studies from California State University, 奇科. Mitchell is coming back to both their Lasallian and northern California roots! Mitchell has centered their work in queer and feminist theories, Filipinx and multiracial studies, and indigenous ways of being inclusive of indigenous peoples from the Philippine Islands. They are interested in and have done work around transgender/non-binary identity education, Filipinx consciousness, bi/multiracial experiences, and spirituality outside and inclusive of organized world religions.

Kimiya负责人 (she/her) is a Bay Area born and 提高了 Iranian American educator and creator, committed to creating equitable spaces for and centering the voices of her students. She is an alumna of Saint Mary’s College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major BA in English and Theatre. She has been teaching acting courses at Saint Mary's, and has developed and taught curriculum rooted in social justice work and social emotional learning with students from kindergarten to college age at American Conservatory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, California Shakespeare Theater, 和更多的. Kimiya is passionate about building community through the lens of ensemble - the idea that we are all in this together, and can build trust and respect for one another through acknowledgement of what unites us and celebration of what makes us different. 在她空闲的时候, Kimiya loves to cook improvisationally, 读新书, and enjoy a cup of ginger tea while geeking out over her favorite shows and movies.
